How do I place an order?

Place your order online through mamascrabcakes.com website under the "order" tab.

 

How do I pay?

Purchase can be made by credit or debit card upon checkout. 

 

How will I know my order has been shipped?

Once you place an order with us you'll receive an email confirmation that will include a link to your order status page through Shopify. This information will update as your order is prepared and eventually shipped.  Additionally, you'll receive email notifications from us providing updates, letting you know when your email has been shipped and delivered. We want to ensure you can follow your deliciousness on its journey from our Baltimore kitchen to your door.

 

How can I track my order?

You will receive your tracking number by email once it has been shipped.

 

How long will it take to receive my order after being placed?

We ship all orders to ensure next day delivery.


What days of the week will orders be shipped?

Monday through Thursday via UPS for next-day delivery.


When do I need to place my order to ensure next day delivery?

The previous day before order goes out by 1pm EST. (Eastern Standard Time)


Will my order arrive thawed or frozen?

Crabcakes are shipped FRESH & RAW and soups are shipped FROZEN but may arrive thawed. Our items are shipped with ice packs in Styrofoam coolers to ensure desired and safe temperatures.


Can I select a future delivery date?

Yes, use our delivery date calendar at checkout to pick an available date.


Does somebody need to be home to accept delivery?

No signature is required, but let gift recipients know that perishable items are coming & to cook or freeze immediately upon opening.


What do I do if my order arrives with damaged or missing items?

We are sorry to hear that but no worries at all! We will work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Please contact us at crabcakes@mamasmd.com with your order number as well as details and photos of the damaged items or what you are missing. Though we are not liable for any damages or missing orders, we will work with you and the courier to make it right!

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping rates are conveniently calculated at checkout depending on weight and distance of your order.

 

Where can I find prep/cooking instructions?

All cooking instructions can be found here, on our main page, under "How to Cook Your Cakes." A card with cooking instructions and options will also conveniently be placed in your boxed order.

 

Can I freeze my order?

Yes, just make sure they are stored in the freezer immediately upon opening.

Protect Your Purchase - Reporting Shipping Damage

If your package arrives damaged, please take a photo immediately and email it to us at crabcakes@mamasmd.com. While we are not liable for issues caused by shipping delays or damage, we’re happy to assist you in filing a claim with the courier to resolve the matter.
